Background
The existing culvert underneath Jones Road had reached its maximum design life and with a recent storm event the road began to sink above the pipe forcing DOT to close the road.
Our Solution
90” diameter Corlix Aluminum pipe with Aluminum Structural Plate headwalls were designed and installed. Flanged joints were used on the pipe to insure a watertight and restrained joint connection. Installation of the pipe and both Inlet / Outlet headwalls was completed in one day.
